He was also inducted into the Fraternal Order of Masons.įollowing graduation, Tom was employed by Westinghouse Electric where he became the youngest general manager ever appointed & won the Westinghouse Order of Merit. Upon graduation Tom was recruited by VMI, where he majored in Civil Engineering, Captained the football team his first Class year, maintained Dean’s List & was named to Outstanding College Athletes in America. Tom also lettered in wrestling, baseball & basketball. He attended Martins Ferry High School, where his senior year he led the football team as Captain. Thomas (Tom) Campbell passed away suddenly on Thursday September 22, 2022, while at his mountain retreat in Travelers Rest, SC.
