![]() Gen Urobuchi stated that he created a family with a kind father and a strong mother to create a strong background for Madoka and to develop a sense of courage.According to an interview in the fourth Blu-ray's booklet, Tomohisa was made as a kind father so Madoka could develop a sense of courage through her strong family background.Kaname ( 鹿目, Kaname ?): Kana ( 鹿, Kana ?) means "deer" and me ( 目, me ?) means "eye". Tomohisa ( 知久, Tomohisa ?): Tomo ( 知, Tomo ?) means "wisdom" while hisa ( 久, hisa ?) means "old story". He is a stay-at-home dad and does most of the chores around the house. In contrast to Madoka and Sayaka's Tareme Eyes, Mami, Homura and Kyoko all have Tsurime Eyes, and they are all veteran magical girls who have a more cynical view on being one. Tomohisa is a kind man that supports his family. Madoka and Sayaka have Tareme Eyes, and they are both very naive at first about the true nature of being a magical girl. The next day, Akemi Homura, the girl from her dream, comes to her class as a transfer. One day she has a dream of a mysterious girl fighting an ominous creature. Living an ordinary life, Madoka has a loving family and is surrounded by good friends. He wears rectangular glasses rimmed with taupe brown, a deep blue baggy V-neck long sleeved shirt, khakis and dark brown shoes. Madoka Kaname, the protagonist and title character, is a gentle and friendly 13 year old girl. She learns under Mami and homura becomes a magical girl shortly after she was rescued by Mami and Madoka from a witches labyrinth (I think it was the art witch). Tomohisa is a tall man with short, medium light-brown hair and dark brown eyes. Madoka makes a wish to save a cat (think it said so in the wiki, its the cat shes holding in the OP) and becomes a magical girl.
